Zukakakina

Yesterday (December 13), my wife and son saw snow falling while they were running errands at Makuhari, Chiba (location of Tokyo Game Show/Motor Show venue, etc.) — for the first time this year. It's appropriate, then, that my Snow theme is just about ready to release. It's not explicitly a Christmas theme, but is suited to the season and could easily be Happy Holiday-ized with the right topbar graphic. The theme started out as port of the Mtechnik_Xmas theme for PostNuke, but I decided to redo all the graphics, etc., in order to avoid copyright problems, as that theme is free to use but isn't GPLed.

Anyway, it's getting pretty close to completion. I may release it without all the styling being done just in case somebody wants to use it as is or as a starting point. The basics are fine but the default treatment for links, etc., is carried throughout the site, which may not be the most stylish way to go. I'll continue to work on those details even after the theme is posted for downloading.

Got to decide on a version number system.
